With over 10 years of experience, Derek has worked for Boeing, NASA, Raytheon and other Fortune 500 companies managing large scale manufacturing concepts. His current projects are within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics where he oversees enterprise strategy development and execution for the country's most mission critical initiatives.
ONE OF HIS CROWNING ACHIEVEMENTS
Developed the $23.8M prototype for Raytheon’s Intelligence & Space’s high-energy laser that is used today to carry out military missions and civil defense worldwide. Also, Derek helped build the Space Launch System for Boeing/Nasa. His team successfully brought the first of its kind concept through all phases of development. Derek was a key leader in the on-time delivery of the first flight article of the "Forward Skirt" portion of the rocket".
